Struggle against Israeli occupation
In 1967 aggression two thirds of the Golan fell to the Israelis:
On the eve of the 1967 was the populations of the Golan were 138000 people vqs of them (131000) were displaced to
live in neighboring gouesnarotes (Damascus o.c , Damascus Daraa ) only %5 of the population in the Golan semained
in 6 villages in the farthest north of Golan. These villages are: (Majdal Shams, Masaada, Boquata, Ein Qinia , Al
Ghar and Sheeta). Occupation forces destroyed sheeta and expelled its people to the neighboring villages of
Mosaada. Thus only five villages renamed under occupation. Their population were about thousand people at that
time. In 2003 they become 22000 people.
