At the end 0f the second millennium B.C the Aramites started to enhance their presence in
central and northern Syria. In the Golan ,new researches proved the existence of some aramaic
kingdoms that were established over Canaanite and Amorite sites. No doubt the Aramites settled in
the Orontis valley, the litany valley and in southern Syria. The Golan fell to the Aramites
since the start of the of the first millennium B.C. when several Aramaic kingdoms expanded wide
to reach the Golan Heights (kingdoms of Aram Suba) and Banias (kingdom of Beit Ruhoub).
The Aramites were Semites who came from the Arabian peninsula around the year 1500 B.C.
Historians confirmed the Arab origin of the Aramites .
When the Aramaic kingdom of Damascus fell to the Assyrians /732 B.C / Golan fell to them too, then the kaldanian followed: 800-600 B.C. Samaria fell to the Assyrians in 721 B.C. and
political Israel in north Palestine was conquered by Nabokhad Nussar 586 B.C. Then followed
Jerusalem and yehuda in the south too. In this period many Arab elements came to Syria and settled in al Safa, al lajat, Hawran and the Golan.
